PVC Hose (depending on diameter) can be used with dust collectors, shop vacuums, industrial vacuum systems, lawn tractor leaf catchers and a whole lot more! Simply make sure both ends of the hose are secured with hose clamps and your ready to go. The PVC hose flexes enough to weave in and out of shop machinery or table legs without kinking. Its also sturdy enough that it won’t flatten out when the dust collector is turned on. The hose has a compression ratio of 3: 1.

This PVC hose is clear which allows you to see what’s going on inside the hose while the dust and debris are flowing through it. Not only can you see the dust and debris, you can also see if any build up or blockage has occurred. Being able to see this makes fixing any suction issues with the hose much easier than typical opaque hoses.

While PVC Hose can be used on other machinery or devices it has been designed for dust collection purposes. The hose temperature range is -20° F to 165° F which is ideal for indoor use like in a woodworking or workshop environment. The clear hose wraps around a black carbon steel wire helix that reinforces the hose to keep it from kinking and is capable of an electrostatic discharge when properly grounded at both ends of the hose.

UHMW bars are most commonly used as runners for crosscut sleds since they don’t produce as much friction as wood does. Another advantage is that UHMW won’t expand or contract like wood does during drastic weather changes. Each bar is approximately 3/4” x 3/8” which fits most standard table saw slots. UHMW bars are also slick and won’t leave any residue, dust or shavings behind like wooden bars tend to do.

The tracks that are included in this kit are made from solid extruded aluminum and are Made in the USA. Each track is cut to length for the perfect sub-fence on the crosscut sled. The included knob and bolt is for making a simple stop block which when finished, can slide the length of either track along the sub-fence. The stop block will allow you to make repetitive cuts without having to constantly move and measure the fence distance each time you make a cut.

We have also included a full color and detailed how to guide book to help you with the crosscut sled building process. Each kit comes with 2 each 19” long by 3/4” by 3/8” UHMW bars, 2 each 12” long mini tracks, 1 each knob, 1 each 1/4” by 20 tpi bolt and a how to build your own crosscut sled guide book. Make your crosscut sled to the size you want or need for your table saw and your specific cutting needs. Please Note, the bars do NOT FIT RYOBI table saw track slots.

One of the most common uses for the forstner bit extension is for woodturners who need to bore out starter holes on larger vessels. However, the extension works exceptionally well for projects like salt shakers, pepper mills or even wood turned beverage mugs. Contractors use the extension when they need to bore deep holes for running cables or wires and they also use it for joining larger timbers.

The forstner bit extender is made from solid, heavy duty machined steel. It is designed to be used with forstner bits only. The collet inside diameter is 3/8 inch. This tolerance is very tight and designed to accept forstner bits with shank sizes of 3/8 inch or slightly smaller. Please note that some forstner bit manufacturers produce bits that say 3/8 inch shank size when in fact they are not. If you measure your bit shank and it is 3/8 inch, your bit should fit once the set screws are loosened

The collet outside diameter is 25/32 inch without the set screws protruding outward. The reason this is important is that as we mentioned earlier, some bits may have slightly different shank sizes. This means the set screws may protrude outwardly from the collet. The minimum size hole this extension will allow you to drill is 13/16 inch.
